• I don't believe it has the inverter technology, i might be wrong. The new thing about this microwave is the cook technology - automatically dials back on the cooking time based on the steam generated by the food that is being cooked - helps prevent splatter in the microwave due to overcooking.

• The Panasonic answer posted here is misleading I had the same question but the Panasonic answer and link is misleading ....I'm not sure its referring to the same model ?! The review by Carmudgeon1 is much more informative and accurate ! Suggest you read that instead !
