“When one presses the rectangular button to open the door, is it supposed to stay depressed until one closes the door. I just bought this model. The button stays depressed and only pops up to original position when the door is closed again. Defect?”

Hello! Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The door release button should not stay depressed after being pressed, and it should pop back out immediately after you release it. In such situations, try gently cleaning around the button with a soft cloth to make sure there is no debris. You can also unplug it for 10 minutes and then plug it back in to reset it. If the same issue occurs, we recommend seeking professional assistance from one of our authorized service centers.
