Is the inside coated? null

It is finished with a baked on enamel-type finish but I would not say it is coated. It's very easy to clean.

The inside does appear to be coated, however it depends on what you're asking if it's coated 'with'. The inside is white, like all other microwaves I've ever seen, and is easily cleaned.

I don't know if it's coated but if your worry about having to clean it, all you have to do is put a safe microwave cup of water in the microwave heat for 3 minutes on high; let it set in there for 15 minutes the stream will loose up the cake on stuff and wipe clean, no need in any chemical

I think it's just painted/coated metal like any other microwave.

coated with what? it seems to be painted metal, is paint a coating to you? then yes, it is coated.
