• Absolutely. I have done this myself. You need to change the scan type in the video settings first, or your image is going to go off the screen. I don't remember what to set it to specifically, though. Mess with the setting and you'll get it!

• Yes, you can. But I tried. The quality is not that good. Before the TV dimension is slightly different from monitor dimension.
