Panasonic - 50" Class (49-1/2" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV

Purchased for the living room, because of the pric, I wasn't looking for a mind blowing picture, but I have to say I'm very impressed. I also have a 2014/2015 Samsung 60" in my room. Spent quite a bit more for a near perfect picture, and they really aren't much different! Either way, for the price, it's much bang for the buck.

We needed a tv for the spot over the fireplace. Our contractor told me not to buy less than 50". I wasn't convinced we needed one that large but thankfully this Panasonic is perfect. The picture is great. Controls easy to manipulate. Great tv.

i love the size and its on my wall. Lol I would definitely recommend.Best Buy products to my friends.

Let me start by stating this was a purchase for my daughter as she moved out of the house and into her first apartment. I have been tracking this particular model line from Panasonic for a while and often thought it would be the right one for myself when it comes time to replace my existing television. I've seen the television in action myself at her apartment and I was very, very pleased with the purchase. The picture quality was, to my eyes, incredible. Much better than I believed possible at a $399 price point (was on sale). And unlike my parents older Panasonic plasma television the speakers didn't totally suck. My daughter has done nothing but rave about the television. According to her it was a breeze to set up (out of the box, put together, and up and running in 15 minutes). The remote is good. I quote, "I am more than happy with it! With the quality and price, I feel like we stole it." She may not be a tech/gear head like me, but she knows what she likes and apparently this purchase, guided by dad, was spot-on.

This is a great tv for the price. Excellent picture, easy set up and good sound. There was another tv i wanted but it was out of my price range. so i settled for this one but I'm glad i did. I purchased a quality tv and i wouldn't change it If i could have afforded the other one.

The tv has spectacular picture. the boarders are very thin and the base is very sturdy. The only issue that i have with it is that there is no vga port, there are only two hdmi outlets, and there is no audio out with rca cables. other than those issues the tv is amazing

Got this as part of Thanksgiving and it is very nice for the price and the picture quality is so nice though I am not an expert in picture pixel quality. Also need to mention this has 2 HDMI ports that comes handy to plugin two devices. Audio quality is decent enough but though I have a sound bar connected.

This set is a phenomenal value fora 50" 1080p set. It's not smart (good), it doesn't try to upconvert the frame rate (60 Hz is just fine). Any time a set is has some "smarts" built in, it'll be obsolete within a year or two. The manufacturer can only support and update older sets for so long, before it's too impractical for them, and the user. The "smarts" are better kept in a detachable box (e.g. Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, etc.). People seem to go gaga over higher frame rates, but to me, it just looks artificial. It may be great for sports, but everything else, it's really a detractor. The slim bezel on this set is very subtle. It really makes the picture pop, compared to a set from a few years ago. Picture quality is great, I'm sure it can be better, but for the price, it's great. Panasonic has always made good quality and well priced products. I'm not brand loyal, but Panasonic has always provided good reliability and good pricing.
