“What's the response rate on this TV? My parents bought me a TV which I believe is to be a LCD/Plasma. They bought it for my birthday since I love to game (PS3) and I tried it out and the response rate is slow, and I was planning on buying an HD-PVR and $1,150 laptop to go with it, so I could have my recording setup all in 1 place, and not have to carry my PS3 every time I want something recording, so I'm wanting to get my setup correct and have good, instant/VERY near-instant response rates. I heard Plasma's have the best results for fast-paced action movies/games because of the internal-cells moving faster than LCD's. I suspected the HDMI cable as not having enough speed, but it plays HD movies without a problem, on "Game Mode" which disables things games don't require to leave more speed for your gaming desires. Lastly, I'm aware 4ms response rate or slower is almost unbearably intolerable. I'm also on a budget, so if this TV is good, please let me know, if the cons outweigh the pros, let me know as well, this is around my max price range as my laptop and PVR = $1,350 + this $800 TV.”
