• A:Answer All Panasonic plasma TVs panels are designed to have some anti reflection capabilities. This is on top of the bright screen that is created by the TV.

• A:Answer No headphone jack. Ports are very limited to to 2 HDMI, SD Card, 1 shared AV/Component, and one Digital Optical. Oh, and Cable/Antenna.

Q: QuestionTV connection to headphonesHow do I connect my BOSE headphones to the TV so I can watch in silence? My other tv connected to the side but this tv seems to have just "digital audio out" port and my headphones does't fit in there. I think it's for home theater systems which I do not own. What are my options so I can watch in silence?

• A:Answer Yes, but not directly. You would need to purchase an audio Digital to Analog Dolby decoder converter. (Sewell/$50.00 online). You would also need to purchase a digital Toslink optical cable to connect from the TV's DA audio out to the DA converter-$10.00 & up for a 12ft. cable & can be found at most stores or online . This converter unit will decode the TV's Dolby 5.1 audio out to a 2 channel output via a L & R RCA jacks and a 3.5mm headphone jack that is on the side of the unit. Please keep in mind that not all audio DA converters decode Dolby nor have a side headphone output jack. Recently had to figure this out on my own to connect an older 2 channel stereo system.

Q: QuestionWhat are the chances of "burn in" on the plasma screenwill there be a "burn in" on the plasma screen if you leave it on the same station for hrs?

• A:Answer If there is a still display on any plasma TV, it will create "burn in" after a certain amount of time. I've owned plamsas in the past where you can see a little bit of burn in if the same display is on for about 5-10min, but goes away after changing the display. I have not experienced that at all with this TV, and have tested it up to about 20-30min. It is NEVER wise to keep the same display on a plasma for a while, but this TV seems to hold up a bit better than others.

Q: QuestionWhat's the response rate on this TV?My parents bought me a TV which I believe is to be a LCD/Plasma. They bought it for my birthday since I love to game (PS3) and I tried it out and the response rate is slow, and I was planning on buying an HD-PVR and $1,150 laptop to go with it, so I could have my recording setup all in 1 place, and not have to carry my PS3 every time I want something recording, so I'm wanting to get my setup correct and have good, instant/VERY near-instant response rates. I heard Plasma's have the best results for fast-paced action movies/games because of the internal-cells moving faster than LCD's. I suspected the HDMI cable as not having enough speed, but it plays HD movies without a problem, on "Game Mode" which disables things games don't require to leave more speed for your gaming desires. Lastly, I'm aware 4ms response rate or slower is almost unbearably intolerable. I'm also on a budget, so if this TV is good, please let me know, if the cons outweigh the pros, let me know as well, this is around my max price range as my laptop and PVR = $1,350 + this $800 TV.

• A:Answer This TV will be great for your games. I play tekken (fighting game) on this TV and there is no ghosting or slow response rate at all. You are right, Plasma TVs are the best for gaming because of their 600 refresh rate vs the 60/120/240 of the LED/LCD TVs.

Q: QuestionWill I be able to connect my laptop using a USB cable to this TV and view on the TV what is showing on my laptop?In other words, will I be able to use this TV as a large monitor for my laptop?

• A:Answer It seems not. The TV will read pictures, video and music from a USB stick, but it's not set up to be a monitor. However, if your computer can output a TV signal in Component or Composite, you can use the back panel connections.

• A:Answer The same connections. These TVs are the same, except for the 3d option. 2 HDMI and 1 Composite OR 1 Component. Not both. The website is misleading saying it has both. It is one or the other.. Also all connections are in the back. Great for hiding cables. Bad to switch from different sources of imputs. Easily fixed with a box that expands the connections. They sell for 30-50 bucks. But overall, the TV is outstanding. You won't find one with a better picture for less than 2 grand. HIghly recommened.....

• A:Answer If you are using basic cable simply connect the coaxial cable from the wall to the TV then program the channels in the TV menu. Press the MENU button, then press the DOWN arrow to select the Wrench icon. Then press OK. Press the DOWN arrow to select ANT/Cable Setup, then select auto program. If you are using a cable box then connect a HDMI cable from the cable box to the TV and press the INPUT button to select the correct HDMI input.

• A:Answer Try this: This proceedure should work for your model to reset the lamp meter. Lamp Time Reset Procedure: Be sure to reset the Lamp time to "0" after replacing the new Lamp. 1. Plug in the AC Cord, and turn on the power by pressing the POWER button. 2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button on the unit and the SPLIT key on the remote together for over 5 seconds in power on condition. • A:Answer The TC-p50s30 doesn't have a dedicated web browser, per se, however, you can connect this model to your home network and access certain features available in EasyIP TV.
