For best performance, we recommend using a Bluetooth headset within 1 m (3.3 feet) of the base unit. A headset can communicate with the base unit within a range of approximately 10 m (33 feet). - Answer YES IT DOES! THAT FEATURE WORKS QUITE WELL, AND IS VERY EASY TO DO WHEN YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS WHICH ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I RECORDED MY ANSWERING SYSTEM'S MESSAGE IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS.

- Answer You can turn on the ringer by pressing and holding 0 key until the unit beeps (on handset) and pressing and holding (-) volume key on the base unit until it beeps.
