• The camcorder includes an ac adapter that you can use and has a barrel plug that connects to the top side near the back. You leave the battery plugged in but power comes from the ac adapter (it charges the battery when the camcorder is off but powers the camcorder when on - it doesn’t do both at the same time). The power cable is detachable and has a usb connector at one end that works with usb battery packs too (if the output is 1A or more it should work fine). When you record longer videos they are automatically broken up into separate files but you can merge them on your computer using video editing software. Make sure you have enough room on your SD card.
