“How does a microphone attach onto the camera? I don't see where a shock mount could be attached?”

• If the shock mount attaches to a hot shoe, the camcorder includes a hot shoe. The hot shoe isn’t permanently attached to the camcorder and can be added if you need it or left off (out of the box the shoe isn’t attached but is included in the box). If the shock mount has a tripod mount, you can buy a bracket that you could attach both the camcorder and shock mount.
