- Answer You can purchase additional handsets for your system and it is not necessary to purchase another base unit. The recommended part number for the handset alone is KX-TGDA50/KX-TGDA51. The maximum number of handsets allowed are 6, including the one on the base unit.

- Answer Thank you for your question. The unit has Silent Mode and you can turn it on and off by pressing menu #238.
