“How loud is the ring? While I do have some hearing loss the ring on my current phone is almost inaudible especially if the tv is on. Even when the tv is not on still hard to be aware of a call.Can the loudness if the ring be adjusted?”

you have a choice of ringtone and you can set your own volume so, yes, it's pretty good since the phone also "talks" to tell you who's calling.
