• IT is not a satellite phone, if that is what you are asking. it is a regular phone, but can be used with VoIP if you have the adapter from the VoIp service. For e.g if you have vonage, then the vonage adapter is connected to the internet, and you plug this phone into the vonage adapter using a regular telephone cord.
