“How many feet can the phones be? I have the shop and my house which is about 100ft apart. So I want the base unit at the shop and bring the other phone to the house.”

I have the base downstairs in my living room and the other handset upstairs on the second floor in my office. As long as you have the base landline plugged into a phone jack there should be any distance limit as long as both are plugged into a wall outlet. Main thing is the base needs to be on a phone jack.
