• Each handset uses two Ni-MH rechargeable AAA batteries, NOT regular AAA alkaline batteries. They are 1.2 volts 750 mAh. Available from Panasonic in four packs, Part # HHR-4DPA/4BA. Also available from stores like Best Buy.
