• You can use this with your cell phone only as long as your phone has bluetooth. You don't need a landline. It's easy to set up. It doesn't seem to work with Skype though.

• We use ours with Ooma voip. Just plug into the voip device and you can talk.

• No. You need either a standard or cable landline.I have mine thru my cable provider.
