• I don't know. I haven't mated the cell phone with my land line. I don't like this Panasonic phone. It doesn't light up like my previous one did when I have a voicemail. I'm sorry I didn't get a more expensive phone. I actually hate the phone.

• Thank you for reaching out! Kindly be informed that the KX-TGD564M can have two cellphones connected to the base unit via Link2Cell. The telephone system can work without being connected to a landline and it will only ring for cellular calls. However, in order to do that, it is necessary to enable the Cellular Line Only Mode by pressing MENU # 1 5 7 on one of the handsets, then go to ON and press SAVE.
