• Yes as long as your phones bluetooth is active

• Hello! The phone system will try to reconnect to your cell phone 1 minute after the cellular phone is back within range of the base unit. You can change the time setting by pressing the Menu button on a handset, followed by the # key and then enter 632. After that please select the time interval you would like to use for the auto connection and make sure to press Save. - S
