Hi David, The KXMB2061 doesn't have a built in wireless internet feature, so you would still have to connect it to a router or network switch using a LAN cable. Once that's done you can program it to work with with laptop wirelessly. What you just need to get is the IP ADDRESS being used by the machine so that you program it into your laptop.
