• Hi Dave, The short cable provided with the dashcam is about a little over 13 inches so you can mount the rear cam in the front anywhere that the cable will reach. If it's not enough length you can always use the longer cable and just tuck the wires away safely. If you're moving the dashcam in and out of the fleet vehicles that should be fine.
