• I thought the FAA was below 500’ but either way, not the question. Yes, I live above 500’ sea level and it will fly up to 500’ from take off. Now if you live in Lhasa and start at 12000’ And try for 500 more, you might have some problems...

• If you calibrate the drone at that elevation, yes it should fly. The drone takes it's " zero feet " reference from where you take off from or take off location. My elevation is about 4706 feet above sea level and the drone does fly.
