Comes home after you set a time of no connection to controller. Not sure if it does if the battery gets low but controller gives you a low battery apart plus real time battery level.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it returns home in these conditions
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes to both & Ive tested both situations in my backyard too. You can set many parameters in the software, including how long to wait if it loses the signal from your device before returning home. Just keep in mind it returns home (where it took off from & within a few feet & about 4' off the ground) in a direct line of sight so if you've got trees or houses or other obstacles between where you lost the connection & where 'home' is, the drone doesn't have obstacle avoidance (though I wouldn't be surprised if the added this in a future software add on package). I had it over my house when I got a low battery notification & the drone returned promptly with enough battery left for me to land under control.

By default this is 40 seconds I think. if you are using the Flight Plan (in app purchase to build automatic flights and camera angle/speed etc.) it will keep doing the route you programmed until it has finished. If the battery runs low, the Bebop will land where it is. Before that you will receive a beeping alert which should also enable you to get your Bebop back closer to you.
