• Yes! As a matter of fact that is literally the optimal flying conditions; where there is minimum interference. If using your phone, the drone creates it's own 2.4 GHz bandwidth (Wi-Fi) and connects to your phone for around 30 meters. If you use the skycontroller 2 however, you could easily get 1 km of range, maybe more.

• Yes. The controller links directly to the drone. Even if just using the smartphone app, the connection is direct You will actually link as you would to any WiFi router.
