“When I press the on button, my computer either says, "Check HDMI-IN Cable" and will not start. There is no HDMI cable connected or in use. How do I correct this problem?”

You are pressing the wrong button. You are pressing a button underneath on the right side of the monitor (when you are facing it). The power button is on the left side underneath the monitor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem, you have to push the hdmi button on the lower right hand side. In setting up my computer I had pushed the button by mistake so I got the same message. Once you push it to turn it off your computer should start with no problem.
