A:Answer It depends on what you are going to do with the computer. In general, the AMD A12 processor falls between the Intel i5 and i7 in pure CPU performance -- probably closer to the i5, but when it comes to graphics performance you need for gaming, video, etc, the AMD generally has a slight edge, and competes more with the i7. Again, it depends a lot on what you intend to do, along with other factors like memory, drive speed/size, etc. For normal document, presentation, email use, they all meet that spec and the AMD would be cheaper. If money is not the primary factor, go with an Intel i7. If you want a good system with better bang for the buck in graphics intensive applications, AMD is a viable alternative.
