Is that the remote just for PlayStation vue null

No, this remote controls the entire Playstation. It has all of the same buttons and acts the same as a DualShock controller. It does have extra buttons to control video playback for pause, play, fast foward, rewind, etc. It connects through Bluetooth and does not require a direct line of sign, similar to a DualShock controller.

I use it for other video services too like Netflix and YouTube. It's really just acts like a controller in how it connects to the PS4.

Yes. Be warned that it is Very cheaply made. I have had issues with the two I have bought.
