Will this work with a 20.7" hp monitor null

Only if the monitor has one of the square hole patterns on the unit mounting plates. The 2 square patterns are about 3 inches and 4 inches on a side. If your monitor doesn't have screw holes in one of those patterns there is no way that I can see to put your monitor on this mount.

It worked on a 22” Samsung Tv monitor.
