Hello, when the tag is linked to the app and the pet wears the tag to drink from the fountain, the action will be recorded as a drinking event. However, this has no relation to how water is dispensed. If the fountain does not detect the pet’s collar tag, it will not affect the actual water output — the dispensing function is controlled solely by the app.
