A:Answer I think theoretically you could do that but I'm not sure that it would work all that well. There's a door where you can put preground coffee directly in but, with tea, you want the leaves to be loose while brewing and this compresses anything it grounds or you put in there. In this picture, it's the little door that's opened in front of the beans.
