The 3200 has buttons for Coffee and Americano that will make those drinks in one step. You can select three levels of coffee to use and three levels of volume. You can separately add more hot water if you like, though that comes out of the milk frothing wand so you need to move the cup to do that as well as use the hot water button.

Once you set it up, It makes makes espresso, Americano, Espresso Lungo. I don’t own this machine anymore. I was not happy with it.
