• Hello! You can use any coffee or espresso beans, however, per the user manual, do not use caramelized or flavored coffee beans.

• I love using the Gavina Old Havana Coffee Beans in this machine. I got them on amazon. Get high quality beans so your coffee won't taste bitter. The coffee maker is awesome! My favorite bean so far is the Gavina Old Havana.
