“Can you turn on or off the lighting using the app?”

• Yes. You can use the app to turn it on/off. You can also use Alex or Google to turn on/off too. I use the Hue high hat with the Hue motion sensor. When someone walks in the room the hue motion sensor turns on the Hue high hats.

• Yea, the Philips hue app and the SmartThings app are the ones I use to control my lights.
