I use wall mount. Does it block the strip? null

nope not at all but if u have the tv more away from the wall u get more spread of the light :)

The strip is intended to be mounted behind a video screen, so that in combination with the sync box, it can provide complementary bias light. If the provided adhesive clips don't work for your video screen, you might consider something involving zip ties?
