“Does the bridge need to be connected via ethernet to a router?”

• Yes, big miss in my opinion, although one less device in my living room. I just don't like the option of not being able to relocate it, it seems to work just fine though with no lagging or cutting out.

• Yes, the bridge does not have wireless function so it has to connect to your router by network cable.
