• You have to use Philips "Hue" bulbs.

• Philips makes a BR/PAR 30 lamp Hue LED bulb. I'm only familiar with the A19 bulbs that come with the starter kit and fit standard lamp sockets.

• Probably, but it is not recommended for outdoor use. You may have an issue with it connecting to the hub as well.
