“What happens if the power fails or the Table Lamp with the bulb in is unplugged or someone not knowing it's hooked to the HUB turns off the Lamp from it's switch and you notice it's been switched off and turn it back on, will you have to reset the system?”

But if someone physically turns off the light the Hue system can't turn it on. Simple to fix, simply turn the light back on manually and the Hue system takes it from there, need to reset the system.
