Yes, it is the 2nd generation hub. You can use it with any Hue bulbs or switches.

yes, it's a dimmable, warm white bulb & does not change colors like the other model

3rd Generation Kit has 'Apple Homekit' in the bottom left on the front of the box

Yes, it is. It works with my Apple HomeKit and the gen 1 does not work with HomeKit.
