“Does this integrate with comcast xfinity home and do I need the hub if so?”

• You must have the hub. The hub needs to be plugged into an open port on your router. I have xFinity (Comcast) and it works just fine.

• The starter pack includes the hub and 2 bulbs. Now as far as xfinity home I'm not entirely sure.

• All hue and similar "bridge" based lights (which I believe are almost all zigbee) require a bridge to connect to the network. other programs or apps can integrate intio it and what not. But It should work with most smart home hubs

• I'm pretty sure you always need the hub to use Philips Hie.
