“Is this for a white only bulb or a color bulb?”

• i use it to control two color Hue light bulbs. The dimmer switch kit I purchased came with a white bulb, but i use the switch to control two color bulbs.

• White, although it's technically not white but in the traditional 'yellow' shade, looking like a regular light bulb. If you want true 'white' or daylight, you have to buy their next step up bulb called the White Ambiance A19 bulb
