Hi Starlight. Per the manual, it's not suggested to use the dimmer switch with these bulbs. We have ours on a dimmer switch, but we keep the dimmer on high. The woman once lowered the brightness with the switch and lights began to flicker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but you will not use dimmer just set to full light The program does all light changes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These bulbs are not recommended for use with a dimmer switch. They do not always function correctly on a dimmer and you shorten the lifespan of your bulb. You can use the app to dim them, with much more flexibility than a traditional dimmer switch but they need to be “fully powered”.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You wouldn't use the switch. You would use the app. You would leave your dimmer on max. The bulbs need full power to connect to your WiFi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but they're not dimmable by the switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can use these with an existing dimmer switch. When paired with Alexa you have tha ability to say things like “Alexa dim the lights to 50%”
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the bulbs in that room but the dimmer will not work with the lights. The lights would have to be always on but can be controlled with the app to dim or turn on. Or simply turn the dimmer off.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you can dim the lights through the app or a Phillips remote switch, but you cannot dim them with a standard light switch dimmer, the bulbs will flicker and malfunction.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No they dim in the bulb not at the switch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, they can only work the the Philips dimmer. Other dimmers freak them out. I originally intended to use them in our outdoor garage sconces, but those have automatic dimmers and it makes the bulbs start strobing. Our house looked like it was having a rave.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
