The question was about the environment that the bulbs can be used in, and I saw the specifications which says, "Indoor use". I want to put the bulb in an outdoor fixture, which is protected from rain and snow, but is in hot and cold conditions, during our season's in NJ

I'd hate to spend 30 bucks for a bulb, and have it break or not work in extreme weather. Thanks for your reply. Maybe someone from the manufacturer can respond.
