All need to be hue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will only control the bulb that is Hue. Example - If you have a ceiling fan with 4 lights you would have to install 4 bulbs to control all the lights. You can set the lights up in a group and call them by the group name to turn on and off. I use mine with the Google Home Mini.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each light bulb needs to be hue enabled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you want to control the fixture I would recommend smart light switch or you will end up buying 5 HUE bulbs to group it as 'dining room fixture'
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each light is controllable independently or defined as a group. Groups can be any combination of Hue lights throughout the house. Usually though you would define them by their specific location like Master Bedroom, Dining Room etc. The Hue lights do not control the fixture or any other lights. Therefore, you can have one Hue light in a fixture that holds 5 bulbs but the mobile app can only control the one hue bulb in the fixture. It would appear rather odd to have only one light that can be controlled as that would be the only one that changed its settings. So...if I used the app to change the one Hue bulb to a dimmed settings, the other 4 would remain bright.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bulb is what is turned on, not all the bulbs. You would need to have them all be compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All need to be hue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All of the bulbs need to be replaced if you want to control that fixture via the hue hub/app. The Hue hub only controls the hue lights, it cannot turn on or off any non-hue bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All bulbs will need to be Hue Bulbs.
