• In the online specifications area (scroll down) for these bulbs it states compatibility with” Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Hue, Nest, SmartThings, Wink” I believe the Google Home “Pad” you are referring to is the Google Home Hub which likely connects to the Phillips - Hue Bridge (additional component) that is required to connect the unique serial numbered Philips bulbs.....some multi-bulb sets come with the Hue Bridge included. It’s still fairy easy to do and the color changing bulbs are quite impressive. You may want to also consider smart outlet plugs as the bulb sizes (fit) are a little limited on availability. We started with one bulb and now have them throughout the house, some are set to illuminate upon our arrival home at night..a nice hands-free feature.
