I use them for lighting my carport at night and it gets pretty hot here. As for the -5°, I am unsure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have some bulbs outside in fixtures. I’m assuming that as long as they don’t get wet you might be alright. But I also do not live somewhere with temperatures that low. Hope this helped!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They claim it will shorten life span, personally have not tried. Would like to use colored ones myself, a little pricey to try.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have these outside temps between 20-75 no issues so far
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have done a lot of research on this question and sites from Phillips and other users say that you can as long as the fixture provides adequate coverage from the elements as far as rain and wind goes. However they also say that the elements can wear the bulbs down faster so I’d say you’d sacrifice longevity in an outdoor setting. I personally have not tried my set outdoors yet but I’d feel comfortable doing so with what I’ve read.
