“Do you have to have a Hub for these to work with Alexa Dot?”

• I do not have a hub. I have them in all the bathrooms above the sink. My floor lamps and outside on the patio. Works with Alexsa flawlessly. I have them pre programmed and I use them on command.

• Yes you do need their hub buy the kit that has the hub included first I suggest you wait for a sale. They work great slowly but surely you'll be changing all your bulbs for these.

• Yes you would with this generation of the dot. Maybe in the future they will have a built-in hub for the dot in addition. But I assume the price would increase to.

• You do need one, but you can get the alexa gen 2 and interlink the dot with that, and the gen 2 will act as the hub, we use it daily.
