“What happens if you turn these lights off and back on via the light switch itself (not the app, voice control or remote control)? Will it retain the previously set intensity/color/tone? Or does it revert back to default settings?”

if you turn the light switch off, when you turn it back on, the lights come back on White. Of course you can very easily change them back to any color via the app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as you save the light settings to default to whatever color or scene you used last. Took me a sec to figure that out. I was getting annoyed when I'd set everything and turn the switch on and off to go back to warm white. You have to go into the individual light setting and change it for each light specifically.
