A:Answer They're supposed to be 2nd Gen, but I think Best Buy is either pulling a fast one on customers or they have the listing incorrect... 2nd Gen is supposed to have richer colors, my 2nd Gen A19 Hue bulbs have a real green color. Where my 1st Gen A19 bulbs are light pale lime & not green hardly at all!! These BR30's I received emit the lime green color like the 1st Gens...
And yes they did come in a brown box with a Phillips hue sticker. Best Buys website didn't say they were refurbs, but now I'm beginning to wonder after you brought that up:(
