• Yes, being that this does not hook to your electrical system. Think of it as a wireless remote control. It will do whatever you program it to do in the Hue app.

• There is no wiring required for this switch. It setup using Hue hub and it powered by batteries. It is more like a remote than a switch.

• These are wireless and do not replace the old switch. They work with them. Place the old switch to the on position, then place these anywhere. I used double-faced tape. You can use screws if you wish.
