• Yes, it is portable. As long as it is charged up or if you are able to plug it up were ever you are .

• You can bring it outside provided it's charged but I would not leave it out there to be exposed to the elements.

• Absolutely, used mines several times on my patio entertaining by the pool. Keep in mind if it not plugged in they automatically shut off after 3 hrs. But outside of that I always have a back up or plan for two hours of entertaining.

• Yes, however it is not recommend to store or keep the lights outside overnight.
