A:Answer It all depends how you set it up. I have one in many closets and rooms, and they control just the hue lights in those rooms. But during Christmas time, since I wrap my banisters with lights connected to a smart plug, I have my living room motion detector and my basement motion detector trigger both trigger the Christmas lights. And then the living room also controls the living room lights and the basement controls the basement lights - though I could control multiple rooms with just one as well.
